Le Pressoir
This stay is nested in the medieval Manor of Parc d'Ourville, which is a historic monument in Saint-Lô d'Ourville at the Portbail sur Mer commune.
This large 250m2 cottage (2 700 sqf) has exceptional amenities all across its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It can comfortably accommodate 12 people.
The ground floor (with bedroom and bathroom) is accessible to our guests with reduced mobility.
Le Pressoir is our largest holiday home at 250m2 and can easily accommodate twelve people with its five rooms and three bathrooms.
The impressive size of the house, the wooden floors, old fired tiles, natural lime paint and the thick, old wooden beams of the ceilings revive the atmosphere of old, authentic manor houses from the Middle Ages.
Le Manoir du Parc is part of the former Parc d’Ourville, the country estate of the knights from a thousand years ago.
Our guests also have the opportunity to get to know our 140 hectare farm better. Our organic livestock breeding of cows and sheep, but also horses, pigs, ducks...
The immediate proximity of the sea with its wide sandy beaches and dunes (3.5 km), the numerous sporting activities on offer such as horse riding, sailing, fishing, hiking...) and the wide range of cultural offerings (Cité de la Mer, museums, occupation beaches, castle tours... .) enable you to spend a relaxing, active or enriching holiday.
The yard belonging to the house offers parking space for five cars. A terrace with a barbecue and a green area that borders a pasture where horses, donkeys or sheep sometimes enjoy themselves complete the area.
The central room on the ground floor with its 60m2 and its thick ceiling beams still houses remains of the medieval apple press.
Adjacent to this is the well-equipped kitchen (large refrigerator, induction cooker, microwave, dishwasher...).
There is also one of the five bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, which is also suitable for the disabled.
On the first floor you have access to two bedrooms and a bathroom via a mezzanine that is set up as a games room. In the Middle Ages, one of the bedrooms served as the estate manager's writing room, which was taken into account when furnishing it.
The floor above is identical, with a mezzanine as a relaxation room and access to two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The pressoir can also be rented on weekends outside of high season. We are pleased to give you information.
